Olmstead Progress Survey

Olmstead Progress Survey

In order to assess the views of stakeholders about California’s implementation of the Supreme Court’s Olmstead decision, we conducted a survey in 2010. Forty-one people participated. The findings suggest that a majority of stakeholders feel that the state has made limited progress. Stakeholders identified appropriate funding of home and community-based services, support for the In-Home Supportive Services program and access to affordable and accessible housing high among their priorities.
